 <note>Background: Cervical cancer is a malignant tumor in women that attacks the&#13;
female reproductive organs, namely around the vaginal mucosa and cervical canal&#13;
mucosa or what is usually called the lower part between the women’s genitals and&#13;
the uterus. The factor that increase the chance of cervical cancer in women&#13;
accroding to the ACS or American Cancer Society include HPV (Human Papiloma&#13;
Virus) infection, sexual behavior, family history of cervical cancer, age, use of&#13;
hormonal birth control, smoking, income and socio-economic status, race,&#13;
unhealthy diet, presence of abnormal cells, frequent pregnancy, and DES&#13;
(dietilstillbestrol). The most common treatment for cervical cancer sufferers is&#13;
chemotherapy. Side effects of chemotherapy result in nausea, vomiting,&#13;
gastrointestinal disordes, decreased appetite, weight loss, hair loss, blackened&#13;
skin. Objective: To determine changes in nutritional patterns in cervical cancer&#13;
patients during chemtherapy at the Dr. Regional General Hospital. Soedarso in the&#13;
Ramin Room. Method: The method used is qualitative with a case study approach.&#13;
The research was conducted ar RSUD Dr. Soedarso on June 25 2024 involving 3&#13;
respondents. Data were analyzed using narrative studies, interviews, observastions&#13;
and audio recoding. Data were analyzed using narrative analysis. Results: The&#13;
results obtained from the 3 respondents were that there were similarities in the&#13;
complaints from the 3 respondents. Nausea, vomiting, decreased appetite, weight&#13;
loss, hair loss and blackened skin occur.</note>
