Moral education is not only taught in schools but also through films. Films
serve as powerful mediums for conveying ethical lessons and values. The study
aims to recognize and analyze the character education values presented in the
movie, focusing on the main character, Anirudh "Anni" Pathak, and his experiences
in dealing with life's challenges.
This study adopts a qualitative descriptive method to analyze the movie
"Chhichhore," focusing on its portrayal of character education values. In this
research, content analysis is employed as the main tool for data analysis. This study
applied a qualitative descriptive method to describe the results of the research. The
data of this study are movie scripts classified into character education values. The
source of data was the transcript of the movie "Chhichhore," including scenes and
dialogue among the characters. The instruments used in this study are
documentation techniques. The object of this study was the movie "Chhichhore."
In collecting data, the researcher employed a documentary technique that involved
watching the movie, reading the subtitles, and taking notes. The researcher used the
theory of content analysis (Ary, 2010) to analyze the data systematically. The
findings of this study is an analysis of the scenes and dialogues in Chhichhore
identified ninth character education values: honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard
work, curiosity, appreciation, gratitude, social care, and responsibility.
