University Students’ Perspective of Using Google

The aim of the study ; (1) to explain the students’ perspective in implementing the
use of google classroom learning media to increase motivation and active learning after
the COVID-19 pandemic. (2) To find out the supporting and inhibiting factors for using
Google Classroom learning media to increase motivation and active learning after the
COVID-19 pandemic. (3) to find out the results of how students adapt to the online
learning model using Google Classroom learning media to increase motivation and active
learning after the COVID-19 pandemic.
The study was conducted to identify the main types of motivation, both intrinsic
and extrinsic, among participants. This study uses a qualitative method, data is collected
through questionnaires and interviews. The data collected was analyzed using
percentages, frequencies, average scores, and interpretive methods. The findings of this
study show that the average score of intrinsic motivation (3.95) is higher than that of
extrinsic motivation (3.47). The mean score of overall motivation is 3.71 was considered
a high level of motivation. Intrinsic motivation is the primary driver of successful English
language learning for most students. Their genuine interest in the language, coupled with
a strong desire to master it, propels them to actively engage in learning activities and
consistent practice. Effective teaching requires a variety of strategies to engage students
driven by internal rewards (intrinsic) and external incentives (extrinsic).
