Resilience is an interactive concept that refers to an individual's&#13;
environmental experience to overcome stress or adversity. This research highlights&#13;
the importance of resilience in the educational context, especially in dealing with&#13;
factors that cause challenges and stress experienced by EFL pre-service teachers.&#13;
This study used qualitative methods with interview instruments. Data from&#13;
this study were collected from 5 EFL pre-service teachers at a private university&#13;
selected using several criteria, namely gender, placement, and regional origin who&#13;
are currently studying teacher education, each of whom has a different educational&#13;
background.&#13;
The findings in this study describe the development of EFL pre-service&#13;
teachers' resilience based on factors that can influence EFL pre-service teachers'&#13;
resilience in shaping their character and ability to withstand challenges in the&#13;
teaching and learning process. These factors are personal relationships, social&#13;
relationships, and supportive relationships. Eventually, this study not only provides&#13;
new insights into the factors that influence EFL pre-service teachers' resilience but&#13;
&#13;
also emphasizes the importance of support from various parties in helping EFL pre-&#13;
service teachers develop the mental and emotional resilience needed to become effective educators in the future.</note>
