In the process of learning English part time and full time students at the Ngabang regional campus have different learning habits and face learning challenges. Although Ngabang is one of the currently developing districts, some of its students come from the interior and have unique learning habits that are certainly different from urban areas. This is what makes this study different from previous studies. This study aims to first describes the types of study habits of part time and full time English students‟ batch 2022 and secondly describe the study habits challenges of part time and full time English students‟ batch 2022. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method whose sample consists of classes A and B with a total of 60 students. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The instruments used in collecting data are questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis used includes: data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The results of the study show (1) Part-time and full-time students have three main types of learning habits, namely: rarely studying, weekly studying, and daily studying. (2) Part-time and full-time students face four types of learning challenges, namely: poor academic achievement, language barriers, financial constraints, and adjustment to an urban lifestyle. Therefore, these results show that part-time and full-time English students batch 2022 have different types and challenges in the learning process depending on the conditions and needs of each student.
